The service

MeanIt Cards Co. provides an AI-powered tool to generate personalized greeting card messages and song lyrics. You provide details; we generate content for your personal use. All content is generated automatically using artificial intelligence technology.

Payment & refunds

Payments are processed securely through PayPal. Because our product is a digital download delivered instantly, we do not offer refunds once the full content has been revealed. If you experience a technical issue and did not receive your download, contact us at hello@meanitcards.com within 48 hours and we'll make it right.

Email delivery

Our "Email this card" feature sends your card content to the email address you provide. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to contact the recipient. MeanIt Cards is not responsible for undelivered emails due to incorrect addresses or spam filters. We do not store recipient email addresses after delivery.

Your content & license

The personal details you enter remain yours. The generated card or song is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only — you may print it, share it, and give it as a gift to one recipient. You may not resell, sublicense, mass distribute, or use generated content for commercial purposes without written permission from MeanIt Cards Co.

AI-generated content — important notice

All cards and songs on this platform are created entirely by artificial intelligence based on the details you provide. By using this service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• No uniqueness guarantee. AI-generated content may produce similar or identical results for different users who provide similar inputs. MeanIt Cards Co. does not guarantee that your generated content is unique or has not been generated for another user.
• No copyright infringement intended. MeanIt Cards Co. makes no intentional use of copyrighted material. However, because AI models are trained on large datasets, generated content may occasionally resemble existing works. MeanIt Cards Co. is not liable for any unintentional similarity between generated content and third-party copyrighted works.
• User responsibility. You are solely responsible for how you use, share, or distribute AI-generated content. If you receive a copyright claim related to content generated on our platform, MeanIt Cards Co. is not liable and will not provide legal or financial assistance.
• No factual accuracy guarantee. The AI generates creative content based only on what you provide. We are not responsible for inaccuracies, misrepresentations, or unintended meanings in generated content.
• Emotional impact. Generated content is intended to be warm, positive, and appropriate. However, MeanIt Cards Co. is not responsible for any emotional distress, misunderstanding, or unintended reactions caused by AI-generated content.
• Personal use only. AI-generated content from this platform may not be submitted for publication, entered into competitions, presented as wholly human-authored, or used in any context that misrepresents its AI origin without disclosure.

Intellectual property

The MeanIt Cards name, logo, tagline "Say It Like You Mean It," website design, card templates, and all original content on this platform are the intellectual property of MeanIt Cards Co. and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized reproduction, copying, or imitation of our brand, design, or content is strictly prohibited.

Song production service

Our optional "Produce My Song" service is fulfilled manually by MeanIt Cards Co. Upon payment of $19.99, we will contact you within 24 hours to begin production. Please allow 2-3 business days for delivery. Production fees are non-refundable once production has begun. The final produced song is licensed to you for personal use including personal streaming and sharing. Commercial use requires a separate written agreement.

Editable lyrics

Before ordering song production, you have the opportunity to edit your AI-generated lyrics directly on the site. Any edits you make will be included with your production order. MeanIt Cards Co. will produce the song based on the lyrics as submitted at the time of payment. Additional revision requests after production has begun may incur additional fees.

Song production satisfaction guarantee

We want you to love your produced song. If you are not satisfied with your produced song, email us at hello@meanitcards.com within 7 days of delivery and we will produce one additional version at no charge. This guarantee applies to one free revision per order. The free revision must use the same lyrics — requests for entirely new lyrics will be treated as a new order.

Prohibited use

You may not use this service to generate content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or otherwise unlawful. You may not use our platform to generate content targeting minors in any inappropriate way. MeanIt Cards Co. reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.

Limitation of liability

MeanIt Cards Co. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to damages arising from AI-generated content, payment processing issues, or email delivery failures. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific creation in question.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MeanIt Cards Co., its owners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your use of AI-generated content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The date at the top of this page reflects when terms were last updated.
